Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, using high-tech equipment
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety
• Position patients correctly to capture clear, accurate images for physicians
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure quality control is performed regularly
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification (or equivalent) as a Radiologic Technologist
• State licensure in Louisiana as a Radiologic Technologist
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting (preferred, but new grads welcome to apply)
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough understanding of radiation safety protocols
• Knowledge of anatomy and patient positioning
• Proficiency in using digital radiography systems
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
