Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to hemodynamically stable patients on the Progressive Care Unit
Monitor and assess patients with conditions like CHF, COPD, sepsis, and post-surgical needs
Operate advanced medical equipment including chest tubes, arterial lines, and ventilators
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
Support patients and families with emotional, spiritual, and cultural care
Lead by example as a clinical resource and help precept new staff members
Manage IV medications and provide skilled interventions for changing patient conditions
Guide patients from admission through discharge with thoughtful planning and support

Qualifications

Active Montana RN license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
EPNC and TNCC certifications preferred
Pediatric and post-heart catheterization experience a plus

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current Montana RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation
Comfortable managing multiple IV pumps and advanced equipment
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Experience with central lines, chest tubes, and ventilatory support
Knowledge of advanced nursing principles and medication management
