Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical and functional abilities to develop personalized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and coordination
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Restore function, reduce pain, and help patients get back to doing what they love

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Maryland
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
• CPR certification required
• Previous experience in acute care or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and teams
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Skilled in therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities
• Proficient in electronic medical records documentation
• Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
