Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions using evidence-based approaches
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that help patients regain function and confidence
- Deliver hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise programs, and functional training
- Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and communicate outcomes clearly
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support continuity of care
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention to empower long-term recovery
Qualifications
- Active California PT License (required)
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting preferred
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Physical Therapy principles and orthopedic outpatient care
- Manual therapy techniques
- Therapeutic exercise prescription
- Functional training and mobility restoration
- Patient education and home exercise program design
- Clear documentation and clinical communication
