Location: Merced, California

Start Date: 06-08-2026

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday with possible 10-hour schedules for PT travelers; weekend coverage split Wednesday-Saturday and Sunday-Wednesday

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional outpatient physical therapy services across diverse patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics
Collaborate with a dynamic rehab team including PTs, OTs, and STs in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Support early mobility programs and contribute to specialized stroke and joint replacement certifications
Provide care across multiple units including acute care, outpatient, and home health as needed
Build meaningful connections with patients while helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals

Qualifications

Current California Physical Therapist license required
BLS certification
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Willingness to float between inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities across orthopedic, neurological, and medical diagnoses
Comfort working with both adult and pediatric populations
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Adaptability to float between different care settings
