Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shifts, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, varied hours including weekends and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional inpatient physical therapy to orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic and med/surg patients
Utilize cutting-edge equipment like treadmills, exercise bikes and resistance bands to create personalized rehab plans
Collaborate with a dynamic team of therapists and assistants in a 42-bed IP Rehab unit
Document progress using Meditech EMR to track meaningful patient outcomes
Adapt treatments based on surgical volume to optimize recovery journeys

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license
BLS certification
At least 1 year of recent hospital acute care, IP Rehab or SNF experience
DPT preferred for those ready to take their career to the next level

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in inpatient rehab techniques
Strong patient assessment and critical thinking
Team collaboration and compassionate care
Excellent time management in fast-paced environments
Proficiency with Meditech EMR and rehab equipment
