Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions per the PT plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status clearly to the supervising PT
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards
• Support patients in restoring mobility and reaching their goals

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active California state PTA license (or ability to obtain one)
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Compassionate and patient-focused mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Patient care and treatment plan implementation
• Therapy interventions and home exercise programs
• Patient progress documentation and education
• Effective communication with team members
• Safety and infection control practices
• Compliance with state and facility regulations
