Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients in the acute care setting to craft personalized rehab plans
• Deliver hands-on therapy using cutting-edge techniques to improve mobility and function
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams including PTs, OTs and speech therapists
• Document progress in Cerner PowerChart to ensure seamless communication
• Empower patients and families with education for optimal recovery outcomes
• Utilize advanced patient lifting equipment to provide safe, effective treatments

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license
• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of experience, with acute care preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy
• Ready to thrive in a high-volume Level 2 Trauma Center

Education

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong foundation in orthopedics, neurology and cardiopulmonary rehab
• Experience with acute care procedures and patient evaluation
• Comfortable navigating single-patient rooms across multiple campuses
• Proficiency with Cerner PowerChart documentation
• Team player in a collaborative rehab environment
