Location: Bakersfield, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM shifts, one weekend every third weekend with Monday and Friday off
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on physical therapy to a diverse caseload of 12+ patients daily
- Support recovery for patients recovering from TKA, THA, spinal surgery, CVA, and general medical conditions
- Deliver care across Medical/Surgical floors, ICU, and the Emergency Room
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and adjust interventions to help patients regain strength and mobility
- Mentor and guide patients through every stage of their rehabilitation journey
Qualifications
- Active California PT license required
- BLS certification
- Acute Inpatient PT experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with a wide range of diagnoses including ortho, neuro, and deconditioned patients
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to manage a fast-paced inpatient setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to cover occasional evening or weekend shifts
