Registered Nurse - Telemetry Float Pool
Location: Chandler, Arizona

End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care across multiple Telemetry and MedSurg units
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs with confidence and precision
- Titrate cardiac drips safely while watching patients closely for any changes
- Float between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses, adapting quickly to new teams and environments
- Collaborate with charge nurses, clinical supervisors, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent outcomes
- Support post-cath, post-vascular, neuro-surgical, and general medical-surgical patients on their road to recovery
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac drip titration experience
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer (2 attempts max)
- Comfortable floating between Telemetry, MedSurg, and various holding areas
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry and cardiac monitoring expertise
- Safe titration of Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine
- Post-cath lab, CABG day-two, neuro post-op, and stroke recovery care
- Quick adaptation to different units and patient populations
- Clear communication with rapid response and hospitalist teams
