Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with 30 min unpaid lunch, self-scheduling with manager balancing
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and surgical patients
- Interpret telemetry strips and sign documentation at least once per shift
- Monitor and manage patients on set-rate drips such as Diltiazem
- Collaborate with remote tele techs and charge nurses to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to support team needs
- Deliver patient-centered care on a 48-bed MedSurg/Tele unit with 1:5 ratios
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience reading basic telemetry strips
- Some experience with general, orthopedic surgical, CVA, and TIA patients preferred
- Cerner experience recommended
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry interpretation and basic strip reading
- Patient assessment and monitoring
- Electronic medical record documentation with Cerner
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to float between units as needed
