Respiratory Therapist
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Start Date: 05-25-2026
End Date: 08-24-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third for days and every other for nights
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care across all patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
- Manage ventilators and deliver advanced respiratory therapies throughout inpatient units
- Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry procedures
- Collaborate daily with providers, nurses, and fellow therapists to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Float to different hospital areas as an RT to support dynamic patient care needs
- Adapt quickly to varying levels of patient acuity while maintaining excellent time management
Qualifications
- Current RRT or CRT credential required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NRP and PALS preferred
- Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
- Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
- Minimum 0 years experience accepted with proper credentials
Knowledge & Skills
- Ventilator management with Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion equipment
- BIPAP operation using Vision, V60, V30, and Respironics S/T devices
- High-flow therapy with Airvo2 systems
- Strong time management and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to continuously learn and grow clinically
