Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
• Document patient care and maintain accurate dental records

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant Certification (CDA or RDA)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in orthodontics is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Denticon)
• Understanding of orthodontic procedures and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
