Location: Brooklyn Park, Maryland
Start Date: 08-28-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to elderly residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
- Support residents with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring safety and comfort
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and companionship to promote emotional well-being
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by assisting with housekeeping and linen changes
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure each resident's individualized care plan is followed
Qualifications
- Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
- Current CPR certification
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina for assistance with lifting and mobility
