Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to our residents
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Promote a safe and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Connecticut (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus
- A genuine passion for caring for others
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care techniques
