Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in a variety of settings
• Administer medications, treatments, and injections as ordered by physicians
• Monitor and record vital signs, and report any changes to the care team
• Assist patients with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
• Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with RNs, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide the best care possible
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of nursing principles, procedures, and safety standards
• Skilled in medication administration and dosage calculations
• Proficient in vital sign monitoring and patient assessments
• Comfortable with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others
