Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and treatments
• Take and record vital signs, patient histories, and symptoms
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure all equipment is sterile and ready
• Perform routine clinical tasks such as administering injections or medications
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for diagnostic testing
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient medical records and charts
• Support patient education and provide clear follow-up care instructions

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medical terminology and pharmacology
• Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic lab tests
• Skilled in EHR documentation and patient scheduling
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic clinical setting
• Familiarity with pediatric care is a plus
