Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
- Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Document care provided accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Connecticut
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or assisted living preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care standards and safety protocols
- Skill in using electronic health records (EHR) and point-of-care documentation
- Ability to lift, transfer, and support residents safely
- Strong interpersonal skills to comfort and engage residents
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities
