Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility, promoting independence and dignity
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior to nursing staff
• Support residents during meals by assisting with feeding and documenting intake
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in Connecticut
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Reliable and able to work flexible per diem shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of residents' rights and HIPAA privacy rules
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Skill in observing and reporting changes in condition
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Time management and organizational skills
