Shift Type: Saturday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to elderly residents, promoting their comfort and dignity
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
- Monitor and report vital signs and any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
- Help with positioning, transfers, and fall prevention using proper safety techniques
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with nurses and other team members to ensure high-quality care
- Engage residents in positive social interactions and support their emotional well-being
Qualifications
- Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
- Must have completed the COVID-19 vaccine or have a documented religious/medical exemption
- Ability to work per diem shifts, including weekends as needed
- Strong communication and people skills
- Previous experience in long-term care or with elderly patients is a plus
- Must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
- Ability to observe, interpret, and report patient needs
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Compassion and patience when caring for seniors
- Basic documentation and computer skills
