Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support residents with mobility and transferring needs
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality care
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for every resident

Qualifications

• Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
• State or federally issued identification and ability to wear a photo badge at all times
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination or documented religious/medical exemption
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to care
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with the team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of geriatric care best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Empathy and patience when working with elderly residents
