Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
- Perform thorough cleanings, scaling, and polishing to promote oral health
- Take and interpret dental x-rays with precision and care
- Assess patients' oral conditions and document findings accurately
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Maintain a sterile, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
- Collaborate with dentists and staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical skills and attention to patient comfort
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently while being a great team player
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control standards
- Proficiency with dental software and patient record management
- Skill in patient education and chairside manner
- Ability to adapt to busy per diem environments
