Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms
• Take and pour dental impressions for models and appliances
• Expose and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Provide patient education and post-operative instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon software

Qualifications

• Certified Orthodontic Assistant (COA) or equivalent experience
• Experience in orthodontic assisting procedures
• Proficiency with Denticon or similar dental software
• Current CPR certification is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of orthodontic terminology and instruments
• Ability to perform dental radiography safely and effectively
• Skill in sterilizing and organizing dental equipment
• Attention to detail for accurate record keeping
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
