Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable visit
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe, hygienic environment
• Take dental X-rays, impressions, and models to support orthodontic treatment planning
• Educate patients on braces, aligners, and retainers care with a friendly, encouraging approach
• Accurately document patient treatment information using Denticon software
• Manage orthodontic supplies and support the clinical team to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required (ortho certified)
• Experience as a dental assistant, ideally in an orthodontic setting
• Comfortable working with Denticon dental practice management software
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care and safety
• Ability to work per diem shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of orthodontic procedures, appliances, and terminology
• Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and maintaining radiography safety protocols
• Hands-on experience with Denticon software
• Strong patient communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control best practices
