Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and operatory rooms
• Provide exceptional patient care and comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures
• Manage surgical supplies and inventory

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Current X-ray certification (Radiology)
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in oral surgery or surgical assisting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and sterilization protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral surgery instruments
• Proficiency in dental software and record keeping
• Skill in patient monitoring and vital sign assessment
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
