Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures to ensure smooth operations
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms for each patient
• Provide compassionate pre-operative and post-operative care instructions
• Capture and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Uphold strict infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-specific)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in oral surgery or general dentistry preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental terminology and surgical instruments
• Proficiency with dental software and record keeping
• Keen attention to sterilization and infection control standards
• Compassionate approach to patient interaction
