Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures with precision and care
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and operatory rooms
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed
• Provide compassionate patient care and comfort before, during, and after surgery
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent hands-on experience
• Current X-ray certification
• Experience in oral surgery or surgical assisting is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of oral surgery procedures and terminology
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Attention to detail for precise documentation
• Empathy and patient-focused care skills
