Location: Oregon, Missouri

Start Date: 07-27-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts with flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' cognitive and physical functioning
Administer therapeutic activities, exercises, and modalities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Assess patient progress and adjust treatments in collaboration with the supervising therapist
Document all treatment sessions accurately in the electronic medical record system
Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings to optimize outcomes
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercises

Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in Missouri
Minimum 1 year of OTA experience required
Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience required
New graduates welcome if they have completed a Level II fieldwork experience

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and exercises
Strong documentation skills with electronic health records
Ability to work collaboratively with supervising OT and interdisciplinary team
Knowledge of NBCOT/AOTA standards and state practice acts
