Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 4 days per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver personalized occupational therapy interventions that help patients regain independence
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team to create comprehensive treatment plans
Document patient progress using Cerner EMR to ensure seamless care coordination
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs
Contribute to a positive rehab environment where every milestone matters

Qualifications

Current California Occupational Therapy license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy specialty
At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred
Open to first-time travelers ready to make an impact

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Comfortable working with Cerner electronic medical records
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Flexible and adaptable approach to patient care
