Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations of the operating room, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
• Manage and support a team of perioperative staff, fostering a culture of excellence
• Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care
• Monitor and improve quality outcomes and patient safety across surgical services
• Coordinate surgical services across specialties including Urology, ENT, Vascular, OB/GYN, Cardiothoracic, General Surgery, and Acute Care Surgery
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in perioperative care

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of Ohio (or compact license if applicable)
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience
• Minimum 3 years of perioperative leadership/management experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with Point Click EMR is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of surgical services across multiple specialties
• Skills in staff management, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Understanding of quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (Point Click)
