Location: Bakersfield, California

End Date: 08-26-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekends, and rotating holiday on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality nuclear medicine scans including cardiac, SPECT, bone, bleed, and gastric emptying studies
Operate GE imaging equipment with precision and care
Collaborate with the lead technologist and in-house radiologist to deliver accurate diagnostic results
Maintain detailed records using Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Float to Mercy Downtown location when needed to support patient care across the system

Qualifications

Current CA NMTL license required
BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Nuclear Medicine procedures and protocols
SPECT and cardiac imaging expertise
Proficiency with Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Strong attention to detail and patient care focus
