Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans for full body, brain, abdomen, and extremity imaging
• Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize image quality
• Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency imaging needs
• Follow MRI safety protocols and unit guidelines at all times

Qualifications

• Valid ARRT (MR) certification as an MRI Technologist
• Minimum 1 year of MRI imaging experience
• Experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to perform full body MRI imaging including routine body, brain, abdomen, and extremity studies
• Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• MRI full body imaging techniques
• Cardiac MRI experience is a nice plus
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
• Patient positioning and MRI safety protocols
• Proficiency in contrast administration and image analysis
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently on night shift
