Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in an acute care setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor patient vital signs and promptly report any changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient care and assessments thoroughly and timely
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care instructions

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Texas
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous acute care or rehabilitation nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing patient needs
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of acute care nursing principles and best practices
• Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations
• Skilled in patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with patients, families, and the care team
