Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed, and monitor for effectiveness and adverse reactions
- Perform comprehensive assessments, document patient conditions, and communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate residents and families on health management, medication regimens, and discharge planning
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment, adhering to infection control and facility policies
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maryland
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced care environment
- Must provide state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times while on assignment
- Completed original or updated COVID-19 vaccine or documented religious/medical exemption
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills for assessing changing patient conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the care team and support families
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and accurate documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during night shifts
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a commitment to quality care
- Knowledge of infection control standards and safety protocols
