Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and bedside support
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform routine assessments and report changes to the care team
- Document patient status and interventions clearly in the chart
- Collaborate with nurses and providers to coordinate care plans
- Support patient education and discharge planning with empathy
- Maintain infection control and safety standards on every shift
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Previous LPN clinical experience preferred but new grads may be considered
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a 12.5-hour shift when scheduled
Education
- Practical nursing diploma or vocational nursing certificate (LPN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Comfortable with vital sign monitoring, wound care, and ADL assistance
- Proficient with documentation and electronic medical records
- Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Patient-centered approach with good assessment and observation skills
