Location: Las Cruces, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Unspecified days, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (day shift, 12.5-hour)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care at the bedside
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders
Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes in patient condition promptly
Document care accurately and efficiently in the patient record
Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, therapists, and other team members to coordinate care
Support patient and family education to promote recovery and well-being
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed to keep the unit flowing

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential required
Active licensure in New Mexico or ability to obtain licensure prior to start
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or obtainable upon hire
Comfortable with per diem scheduling and flexible assignment locations
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent vocational training

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Solid knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Ability to perform accurate patient assessments and document findings
Experience using electronic medical records and basic clinical technology
Good time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
