Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside nursing care for residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor and document vital signs, patient status and care notes
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists and allied staff to coordinate care
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
• Assist with admissions, discharges and patient transfers smoothly
• Educate patients and families about care plans and daily routines

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and delivering hands-on care
• Professional, reliable, and a team player who communicates clearly

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and accurate charting
• Vital signs assessment and basic clinical monitoring
• Wound care and basic restorative nursing skills
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Strong communication and patient advocacy
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
