Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced 28-bed ER
• Perform thorough triage assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Collaborate with a team-oriented group of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (Point Click)
• Respond quickly to emergencies and manage trauma bays, behavioral health rooms, and cardiac monitoring rooms

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN license by the start of assignment
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and triage skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (Point Click)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fast-turnover environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and procedures
