Shift Type: Every other week schedule, Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour nights totaling 36 hours/week

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages with confidence and compassion
- Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritize care in a fast-paced ED environment
- Collaborate closely with trauma teams and physicians during Level 1 and Level 2 activations
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor critical patients according to protocols
- Document care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record
- Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to maintain excellence
- Support teammates during high-acuity moments and contribute to a positive department culture
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (ability to verify license/certification)
- BLS and ACLS required
- TNCC required; PALS or ENPC required
- Experience in Emergency Department (ED) nursing with Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience
- Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Skills Checklist
- Ability to pass required health screenings: fit test, respirator evaluation, immunizations, and 10-panel drug screen
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency nursing and trauma care knowledge
- Proficient in ACLS and BLS protocols and rapid response skills
- Skilled in triage, critical thinking, and prioritization under pressure
- Effective communication and teamwork during high-acuity events
- Comfortable with ED documentation and skills verification processes
