Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings, scaling, and polishing
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Ensure all instruments are sterilized and infection control protocols are followed
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Wisconsin
- Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Prior experience in a dental office setting preferred
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instruments
- Knowledge of dental radiography techniques
- Strong attention to detail and infection control standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
- Compassionate patient care that puts people at ease
