Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to maintain patient oral health
• Take and interpret dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments and managing patient comfort
• Maintain strict infection control standards and sterilize equipment
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and techniques
• Proficient in dental software and digital x-ray systems
• Understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
• Skilled in patient education and oral health coaching
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation abilities
