Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Take and develop dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient treatment and update dental records accurately
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Massachusetts
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Prior experience in dental hygiene preferred
• Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency in dental charting and patient record software
• Understanding of oral health assessment and preventive care
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
