Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Capture and evaluate dental x-rays with precision
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care strategies
• Assist dentists during procedures and support patient comfort
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
• Accurately document patient treatment and progress

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Passion for delivering compassionate patient care
• Excellent communication skills and patient education ability

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques and instrumentation
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Comfort with dental software and patient charting systems
• Strong attention to detail and infection control standards
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
