Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to help patients maintain optimal oral health
- Assess patients' oral health conditions and document findings for the dentist
- Take and develop dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a smooth patient experience
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Dental Hygienist license required
- Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in clinical dental hygiene preferred
- Strong commitment to patient care and comfort
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
- Proficiency in taking and processing dental X-rays
- Familiarity with dental charting and patient records
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team
