Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to patients
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
- Document patient care and update dental charts
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Assist with patient assessments and treatment planning
- Ensure a clean and safe clinical environment
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Experience in a fast-paced dental office preferred
- Excellent patient communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
- Skill in taking radiographs
- Understanding of dental software for charting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
