Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic imaging examinations as ordered by physicians
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures while maintaining ALARA principles
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging results
• Document patient history, procedures, and images accurately in the medical record
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
• Valid Oregon state license as a Radiologic Technologist (or ability to obtain)
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Previous experience as a Rad Tech preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong patient care and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of radiology imaging techniques and positioning
• Familiarity with EHR systems and imaging software
• Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying schedules
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
