Radiologic Technologist - Per Diem
Location: Portland, Oregon
Start Date: 09-08-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible 12.5-hour shifts, as needed (no guaranteed schedule)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic imaging examinations as ordered by physicians
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures while maintaining ALARA principles
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed
- Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging results
- Document patient history, procedures, and images accurately in the medical record
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
- Valid Oregon state license as a Radiologic Technologist (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Previous experience as a Rad Tech preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong patient care and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of radiology imaging techniques and positioning
- Familiarity with EHR systems and imaging software
- Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying schedules
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
