Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with procedures, from initial consultations to final adjustments
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care

Qualifications

• Must be Orthodontic Certified (required)
• Current Dental Assistant certification or license as required by state
• Experience in an orthodontic practice is a plus
• Strong patient communication and care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dental environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring demeanor
