Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready
• Assist dentists chairside during procedures, keeping patients comfortable
• Take and process dental x-rays with care and accuracy
• Educate young patients and their families on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain patient records and schedule follow-up appointments
• Work closely with the dental team to deliver a positive experience

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant or equivalent training
• Current radiography certification to take x-rays
• CPR/BLS certification for healthcare providers
• Prior experience in a dental setting, especially with kids, is a plus
• A warm and patient-friendly personality
• Willingness to work evening hours

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of dental instruments and procedure workflows
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization best practices
• Comfort using dental practice management software
• Strong patient communication and education skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
