Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the lead dentist during patient exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Take and develop dental x-rays and perform preliminary patient assessments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care with a compassionate approach
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and follow-ups
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Hands-on experience with dental software and digital x-rays
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Understanding of dental terminology and procedures
• Proficiency in patient intake and electronic health records
• Excellent interpersonal skills to support anxious patients
• Attention to detail and strong organizational multitasking abilities
