Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings, examinations, and X-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Collaborate with the dentist to develop personalized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a clean, safe environment
• Deliver a warm, welcoming experience to every patient

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygiene license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
• Strong clinical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and equipment
• Skilled in taking and interpreting dental X-rays
• Familiarity with patient education and motivational interviewing
• Proficiency with dental software for scheduling and charting
• Strong organizational and time management skills
